Chris founded Rosemark Capital Group in 2014, with the mission of “serving entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs.” His own high-profile entrepreneurial success story centers on Rosetta, the digital marketing firm he founded in 1998 and which by 2010 had become the largest independent digital agency in the world; it was sold to Publicis in 2011 for $575M. Chris continued to serve as Rosetta’s CEO through June 2013 and Executive Chairman through December 2013.

Throughout Chris’ 28-year management career, he has been focused on developing and deploying breakthrough marketing and operational solutions based on intellectual property scaled through technology. This fascination motivated him to found Rosetta and pilot its aggressive growth trajectory, and now forms the intellectual basis for Rosemark Capital Group.

His investing, researching and teaching reinforce one another and are centered on how to accelerate growth of high potential companies. Chris is a lecturer at Princeton University in Technology & Entrepreneurship. His articles have appeared in Forbes and other media; he’s been a guest on CNBC and is a popular conference speaker. He is currently engaged in research for a book on the role that the founding CEO’s personality plays in driving value and impact.

Prior to founding Rosetta, Chris co-led the retail marketing practice at First Manhattan Consulting Group, following 10 years in marketing management at Johnson & Johnson, leading the Band Aid and Tylenol Brand franchises.

He graduated from Princeton University in 1985 with a B.A. in History and from the Harvard Business School with Honors in 1989. He lives in Princeton, NJ and Shelburne, VT with his wife Leslie and their three sons, Peter, William and Matthew.
